Spinit Casino Review
Spinit has a simple layout but it’s one that works. From a slider advertising their raft of bonus options to their cartoon graphics and engaging font, Spinit is easy on the eye.
There’s nothing much complicated about this online casino, even if the name might suggest a penchant for spin-based games that isn’t born out in real life, as players can choose from the full range of casino games.
I signed up in two steps:
I entered in my username, email address and password. I entered my full name, address, the currency I wanted to play in and my phone number
Spinit doesn’t require any sort of verification before opening an account or depositing money, while the bonus was a fairly standard mix of money and free spins spread out across a period of time.
The games all played well on Spinit – I encountered no lag or delay issues like I’d had on previous sites – while the website was well formatted and worked nicely on mobile.
As far as their customer service offering goes, it could have been better. Using a chatbot instead of providing a real live chat offering always feels a bit cheap and it devalues the customer experience a little.
SpinIt Casino Bonus
Most sites will have the terms of their new player bonus plastered across the front page, but Spinit were a little more subtle. I did some digging and found out that new players are eligible for £1000 and 200 free spins, with the money being spread out across four deposits.
As is fairly standard, new players can claim 100% and 200 free spins with a deposit between £10-£200. For the second deposit, that drops down to 50% up to £200, the third and fourth are 25% up to £300.
Spinit’s wagering requirement of 40x is a little high, while new players only get 20 free spins on Starburst on the first day, followed by 20 a day for nine days – which is also a little mean.
There are a number of other promotions on the go for more experienced players, such as a 100% up to £100 live casino bonus, free spins on a Tuesday, a balance boosting bonus on a Monday and a Friday bonus.
SpinIt Casino Popular Slots and Games
I thought I’d try out one of Spinit’s new slot games and I landed on Power of Gods: Egypt, developed by Wazdan. The Egyptian theme was really engaging, as was the 3D graphics that had been created for the game – this gave it a really modern feeling. With different options like a volatility section, as well as a vast array of mini-games, Power of Gods was a pretty fun experience. I was hoping to come out of it feeling as rich as Tutankhamun but left feeling more like one of his servants.
Tiki Fruits, a tropical island-themed game, created by Red Tiger, was up next. I had some trouble getting Tiki Fruits to load up but a quick refresh was all it took and I was on my way. The game played a little clunky though and it wasn’t the most fun I’ve had at an online casino.
I played Evolution Gaming’s Lightning Roulette for the first time ever and the croupier was really working it hard! She played it like the host of a game show, she was incredibly engaging and really added to the sense of fun and adventure that this type of roulette tries to create. I won a few hands, lost a few and came out around even so my experience wasn’t all in vain.
Power blackjack played well and had a strong connection – there were no issues with freezing or spluttering – and the dealer was nice and friendly. All in all, it was a grand experience. I really like the tension that comes with a bunch of players all playing with the same hand, and the good-natured banter that the dealer can initiate if a section makes the wrong decision as they chose to hit or stand.
SpinIt Casino’s Mobile Experience
I moved my gaming on to mobile and tested Starbust, a slot game crafted by NetEnt, over wifi. I had a few spins over the internet, just to see if it was running nicely, before switching to 4G. The game continued to flow like fine wine at a banquet, but unfortunately, the flow of money went only one way: from my pocket to Spinit’s.
Realising my luck was out, I fled Starburst and headed for Instant Roulette. This game was clearly formatted with the little screen in mind and it played smoothly over my mobile network.
Spinit’s mobile site was well laid out, with nice big buttons so that even the most sausage-fingered among us would hit the right button every time.
The functionality of the mobile site was excellent as well, with no annoying pop-ups and no dead-ends. The real test of a mobile site is how well it works over 4G, but Spinit didn’t disappoint.
Customer support is provided by three methods: Live chat, Email, Phone.
I was really disappointed with the live chat option on Spinit. Normally, this is my go-to methods of contacting customer support, but as it was a chatbot I decided not to bother. Chatbots rarely get to the bottom of a problem and they offer up generic solutions to individual problems. They might be a money-saver, but they don’t provide a great customer experience.
I thought I’d email Spinit to ask about their verification process, which is something we test for at. I was emailed back less than 24 hours later, but due to the time difference, I wasn’t able to get my question answered until the next morning.
Spinit didn’t really answer my question over email. I wanted to know when I’d be required to verify my account, and all they said was that I didn’t need to verify my account. It was a poor response.
KYC & Documents
Spinit doesn’t require any sort of ID verification to deposit money and start playing. On their website, they say they’ll be in touch if verification is something you need to worry about.
It was a straightforward process to deposit money using my e-wallet, and my money was in the account within seconds.
Spinit allows players to use a great variety of deposit and withdrawal methods, from traditional banking to e-wallets. Providers such as ecoPayz, Neteller, Skrill and PayPal are accepted on site.
There was a £3 withdrawal fee as I took my money back, which always feels a little mean of the casino and it really eats into whatever humble winnings you plan to take home. This took over 24 hours to be transferred back to my e-wallet, too.
